Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all reservations made through the Grandma’s House HARU website.
Please read them carefully before booking.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Early check-out
  • Unused nights after check-in
  • Late arrival resulting in missed nights
  • Reduction in the number of guests

Rescheduling

In the event that guests are unable to travel due to force majeure circumstances such as:

  • natural disasters (e.g. typhoons, earthquakes)
  • flight cancellations
  • government-imposed travel restrictions

Guests may request to reschedule their stay within 6 months of the original check-in date.

Official documentation must be provided to qualify for rescheduling.

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure circumstances such as natural disasters or flight cancellations, refunds will not be issued.

Instead, the reservation amount will be kept and can be used for a future stay within 6 months.

If the length of stay is shortened due to these circumstances, the unused portion can also be used for a future stay within 6 months.

Not Considered Force Majeure

The following circumstances do not qualify for cancellation, refund, or rescheduling:

  • Personal travel delays or missed flights
  • Visa or entry permit issues
  • Minor illness or non-emergency medical conditions
  • Weather conditions (rain, fog, heat)
  • Reduction in the number of guests
  • Currency exchange fluctuations
  • Personal schedule changes

Exceptional Circumstances

In cases of severe natural disasters or extraordinary circumstances that make travel objectively impossible (e.g. major home damage, hospitalization, bereavement), refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the property.

While we will always do our best to support our guests, Grandma’s House HARU cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control.

We look forward to welcoming you to Grandma’s House HARU
