Based at a traditional Japanese home, this experience introduces you to the culture, history, and daily life of the local community. Your local host will guide you through the house, sharing stories about traditional Japanese architecture, customs, and how people have lived here over the generations.

Hi , I’m kaori! (JP/ EN/ KR)
Hi, I’m Kaori, a local guide born and raised in Minamiaso.
After living abroad and traveling, I came to appreciate the beauty of everyday life in rural Japan. Through this experience, I’d love to share the places, people, and stories that make this village special.
I also run a small countryside guesthouse called Grandma’s House HARU, a 90-year-old family home where visitors can experience life in rural Japan. If timing allows, we may stop by during the tour, and I’d be happy to show you around and share its story.
My goal isn’t just to show you around—it’s to help you experience Minamiaso like a local.
