ーA Few Days at HARU
There’s no fixed itinerary.
Each day is shaped by the weather, the season, what’s happening in the village, and what you’d love to experience.
Together, we’ll create a day that’s uniquely yours.
Day1
ARRIVE
After you arrive, we’ll welcome you with a cup of tea and show you around the house.
Then we might take a walk through the neighborhood or hop on our bikes to watch the sunset.
And that’s how your few days in Minamiaso begin.
Day2
A DAY IN MINAMIASO
The day begins by making breakfast together and enjoying it on the engawa.
We might visit a local farmer’s field, stop by a cozy café, or simply follow wherever the day takes us.
Together, we’ll enjoy whatever Minamiaso has to offer that day.
Day３
A SLOW MORNING
We’ll share one last breakfast together.
Then there’s time for one more experience—perhaps something you haven’t tried yet, a seasonal activity, or another visit to your favorite place.
Before you leave, we’ll stop by to say goodbye to Grandma.
Rooms / Spaces
Grandma’s House HARU is a private house that accommodates up to four guests.
Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or with friends, you can make yourselves at home. Smaller groups can enjoy the comfort of private bedrooms, while larger groups can spread out futons in the tatami room and spend time together—just like a traditional family gathering in Japan.
There aren’t many rules here.
This is your home while you’re in Minamiaso, so relax, make yourselves comfortable, and enjoy it however you like.

As this is a traditional Japanese countryside home, air conditioning is available in the living room only.

Because the house is surrounded by nature, you may occasionally encounter insects or other small creatures. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll enjoy this as part of the countryside experience.
